About Me

Greetings! I am KaCey Venning and I so glad that you have me.  I am originially from Virginia Beach, Virginia.  I grew up in a very family oriented neighborhood (I literally have aunts and cousins who live on my same block). My family has always been involved in community and found it necessary to give back. In my family, members have served in public service, private charities, church, education, neighborhood associations, and the list continues. I am eager to carry on my family’s legacy in serving others. They taught me what it means to be a true servant leader. I am equally as excited about becoming an emerging leader in the nonprofit sector. I am currently living and serving in Atlanta, GA.

I am nonprofit professional who enjoys working with other young nonprofit professionals. I currently serve as a Schools Based AmeriCorps Program Manager for Hands On Atlanta. I directly manage 25 AmeriCorps members and indirectly manage over 100 AmeriCorps members and their national service experience. I am also a member of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network Atlanta.

I enjoy spending time with my friends, talking with family on the phone, and laughing out loud.
